Just a heads up - ran stage one of the new ultra rare gear event. There are ABSOLUTELY ZERO random rewards on stage 1 (I havent tried stage 2 yet). I have debugging tools that can now watch various aspects of the game as I work on the hack, and besides survivors (1 per stage, thats it), absolutely ZERO gear was rolled.
The rewards I got (a tier 5 item and supply points) seem to have been card coded.
I cannot post this on the main forums, obviously. Please relate the information.
With regards for the event: Nobody said it would be possible to farm this event like the Elite Roadmap one. In fact, maybe that was never intended to be possible but people figured it out and used it anyway, and now we all take it for granted.
I think the event was just intended to slowly release the gear, and not provide people with all the gear to upgrade their entire lineup at once.
Makes it more fair for people who miss out on an event like this so they only miss out on 1 upgraded character essentially.
And not furthen the gap too much between the p2p people having multiple 5* vs the f2p having none.
This could also mean they might intend to up the frequency of these kind of events and/or maybe implement a golden radio system for it. Who know? It was an awesome event to begin with, so I'm not complaining for now until I see what else they might be planning with it.
Now something not related to this event specifically: I am wondering since you seem to be able to debug and view information regarding rolls if you can provide us with some information regarding the current gear rolls and the most efficient ways and/or places to farm.
Like does it matter how many walkers there are in waves? Do more/less walkers make the chance for (better) items higher or lower? Is the drop rate or quality influenced by the level we play? Like mission 16 stages having better rolls compared to mission 12 stages?
This could at least provide us with some info on the most efficient/reliable way to farm for weapons and survivors until your hack gets released!
